ICEC's Meta-Malls Architecture Yong Uk Song (Chief Researcher) ICEC (http://icec.net) has been developing a SET-based virtual shopping mall system that implements innovative features such as one-stop comparison shopping and one-stop payment. The one-stop payment and multiple perspective comparison shopping over multiple electronic shopping malls is realized by electronic shopping bag system in customer's side, which integrates the digital wallet and an electronic shopping cart into one client software. The digital customer certificates are issued from certificate authority system by on-line and saved on customer's PC or IC card. |

Compaq's EC Solutions and Case Study Sang Hoon Han (Senior Analyst) In the presetation, we explain Compaq Electronic Commerce solutions, strategy, EC marketplace and opportunity, and we analyze the features of Compaq EC Solutions (iTP Payment, iTP Virtual Store, Certification Security System, Atalla and Intelligent Controller) and SET payment messaging architecture to be suited to Korea EC Environment more clearly. Using Compaq's strengths, we propose why Compaq for Electronic Commerce and describe the market share of Compaq in the finance institution and banking industry. Following the example of Compaq oversea EC reference sites, we analyze the environments and the cases, and we explain the application and the direction of growth of Local EC Environment. We explain the significance of SET Mark, the status of SET Mark acquisition of Compaq EC Solution and test items (compatibility, interoperability and compliance). |
